Welcome to Biztracker ("we", "our", or "us"). We operate the Biztracker mobile application (the "App") available at biztracker.live.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our App. Please read it carefully. If you disagree with the terms of this policy, please discontinue use of the App.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide

• Account information: email address and password when you register.
• Business data: business names, customer names, contact details (email, phone, address), product details, invoices, expenses, purchases, and returns that you enter into the App.
• Profile information: display name and optional business logo/image.

2.2 Automatically Collected Information

• Device information: device type, operating system version, and app version for crash reporting and compatibility.
• Usage data: general feature usage to improve the App (no personally identifiable business data is included).

2.3 Permissions

• READ_MEDIA_IMAGES / READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE: Used solely when you choose to select a business logo or image from your device gallery during business setup. We do not access your photos automatically or without your explicit action.
• INTERNET: Required to sync your data securely with our backend (Supabase).

3. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and operate the Biztracker service, including storing and syncing your business data.
• To authenticate your account and maintain security.
• To respond to your support requests and communications.
• To improve, maintain, and fix the App.
• To enforce our Terms of Service.

We do not sell your personal data. We do not use your business data for advertising or share it with third parties for marketing purposes.

4. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored securely using Supabase, which provides PostgreSQL databases with row-level security (RLS). This means your data is only accessible by your authenticated account — not by other users.

We use industry-standard encryption for data in transit (HTTPS/TLS). Passwords are never stored in plain text.

While we take reasonable precautions to protect your information, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

5. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all associated data (businesses, customers, products, invoices, expenses, purchases, returns) is permanently deleted from our systems. This action is irreversible.

6. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate the App:

• Supabase — Backend database, authentication, and storage. Data is processed per their Privacy Policy.

We do not integrate third-party advertising SDKs, analytics that track personally identifiable information, or social login providers.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate data.
• Request deletion of your data (see Delete Account).
• Object to or restrict certain processing of your data.

8. Children's Privacy

Biztracker is intended for use by adults and business owners. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 years of age. If we learn that we have collected such information, we will delete it promptly.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. We encourage you to review this page periodically. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
